CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture and is typically defined as an annual membership that provides funds for a farm early in the season and provides the members with a set quantity or “share” of produce and products throughout the season. We believe this model is a great way to partner with the community in growing local, sustainable food and flowers and supporting local artisan foods and specialty items.
At Blaine's, we do our membership a bit of a twist. Member “shares” are available to purchase for $150 (or more) throughout the year, but when you purchase a member share, you support the Farm financially with early-season activities. You are then free to spend your share balance at our Farm Store however you wish, whenever you would like, throughout the year on anything in our Store.
As a bonus for members only, you will receive a 10% discount storewide. You are encouraged to add to your membership balance throughout the year in minimum increments of $50. Keeping a balance in account continues your member discounts and access to special offers.
a member share is $150 and payment-in-full is required
your initial member share purchase may be greater than $150
by becoming a share member, you agree to the "Membership Pledge" (see below)
your total share amount will be loaded into your account under your name
your share balance is held under your name and can be used to purchase items at the Store any time we are open
you will receive a 10% discount on Blaine's Farm Store purchases
periodically we will have special offers and discounts only for members
you can reload your membership for as little as $50, or more, in $50 increments
if your balance drops to $0, you will no longer receive the member discount
you can purchase a CSA member share ($150 minimum) for friends and family, the balance will be associated with their name for them to use.
As a member of Blaine's Farm Store, I am making a financial commitment for the 2024 season. I recognize that due to the inherent risks of farming, there is no guarantee what produce or products will be available during the season, but I am willing to share the risks and reap the benefits along with the farmers.
I understand that no refunds for member shares will be granted during nor at the end of the season.
I understand that when I make purchases with my share, I am entering a working farm area, therefore I, for myself, my heirs, successors, executors, and subrogees, hereby KNOWINGLY AND INTENTIONALLY WAIVE AND RELEASE Blaine's Farm Store, its directors, officers, agents, employees, subcontractors, lessors, and volunteers from any liability, and I AGREE TO DEFEND, TO INDEMNIFY, AND TO HOLD HARMLESS Blaine's Farm Store, its directors, officers, agents, employees, subcontractors, lessors and volunteers against, for, and from any and all claims, actions, cause of action, liabilities, suits, expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) which are related to, arise out of, or are in any way connected with my participation in this activity. The foregoing includes, but is not limited to, any damage, loss, or injury (including, but not limited to, paralysis or death) to me or my property as a result of my engaging in this activity whether such damage, loss, or injury results from negligence of Blaine's Farm Store or any other cause.
